TFMC embues the “movement era” and what you don’t know can hurt you, including exercise that can do you more harm than good.

Trends of improper exercise have led to dramatic movement restrictions creating a new concern known as “exercise-induced injuries”. See "Are You Putting Fitness on Top of Dysfunction"

The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control has estimated over 10,000 Americans seek daily medical treatment for sports and recreational activities and “exercise-related injuries”. It's these trends of incorrect exercise that have led to dramatic increases in musculoskeletal dysfunctions indicated by some of the following:

  • alt
    Decreased range of motion
  • Pain
  • Stiffness
  • Inflammation to the joints, shoulders, and neck
  • An increased incidence of fracture

The movement era brings a new understanding on how you can move well in order to move more. Assessments are absolutely essential prior to an exercise program.

When you come to TFMC we recognize your story as the most important part of our conversation - we want to hear from you. In order to begin your way towards total wellness, we want to know about your experiences. About your physical, emotional and nutritional history. How we really differ is in how we really listen to who you've been and who you want to be.
